Partner of the Attorneys at Law «IMG Partners» Vadym Triukhan made a comments to “Delo.ua” web-portal regarding the EU and IMF agreement on a new financial support programme for Greece.
Analyzing the situation in Greece and in the euro zone as a whole, he stressed, that “the members of any economic union have to reckon with each other, because all of their financial flows are inter-linked. And, in a case of bankruptcy of one of them, it will inevitably touch upon others. Besides, the “domino effect” causes the so-called reputational harm, to all European Union, in case of its incapability to provide stability for its member states”.
In accordance with the provisions of the agreement, Greeks have to wedge their appetites on budget allocations for social needs and stay under the constant external monitoring of appropriate Task Force. Besides, amendments to the Constitution are to be made by “a provision ensuring that priority is granted to debt servicing payments.”
